PRIMARY TREATMENT is the removal of solids, suspended solids and hydrocarbons from produced wastewater via oily water separators and deoiling hydrocyclones.
SECONDARY TREATMENT utilizes filtration to further remove contaminants. Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) and total suspend solids (TSS) removal occurs in varying systems based on water composition.
